 Optimisation of respiratory MURs and NMS in Community Pharmacy event Tuesday 11 June 6.00pm until 9.00pm  – please register to attend

 The above event is working in collaboration with the LPC and CCGs to upskill community pharmacy to deliver and standardize the quality of MURs and NMS across all community pharmacy. A standardised template for conducting asthma and COPD targeted respiratory MURs and NMS reviews will be provided to the pharmacies. These can also be used to feedback to GPs any issues highlighted. The programme will deliver a group face to face session, giving an outline of the local picture, what is good practice for respiratory MURs and NMS, and hands on inhaler technique training.

After attending the course Pharmacists will be able to:

· Carry out a more structured respiratory MURs and NMS in respiratory conditions (asthma and COPD)

· Confidently demonstrate the use of inhalers and check inhaler technique in patients

· Supply a spacer device if necessary

· Send a feedback to the GP if deemed necessary

Attendees will receive a bag of placebo devices at the end of the event.
