Mandatory Pharmacy Contraception Campaign 2–13 March 2026

LLR Medicines Amnesty 2026 Campaign

From March 2026, LLR residents are reminded that any unused or unwanted medicines can be returned to their local community pharmacy for safe disposal. Returning medicines helps reduce waste, prevent harm, and lowers the risks associated with stockpiling or hoarding medication. To download the poster please click below

This service now covers the initiation of oral contraception, routine monitoring and ongoing supply. To help LLR community pharmacies get started including access to prescribing advice from the LLR Area Prescribing Committee click here.
