Inhaler Recycling
As you will be aware the Take AIR (Action for Inhaler Recycling) pilot scheme has commenced its phasedown which means the scheme’s supporting materials will need to be removed from use.
In preparation for this and to ensure a smooth transition for patients, we ask that any Take AIR scheme materials are removed from display and disposed of appropriately from 1st April 2023, including:
- envelope checklist
- implementation checklist
- countertop display stand
- scheme poster
- scheme leaflet
- scheme sticker
- Take AIR newsletter
If you have downloaded any of the supporting materials available on our website, such as posters, infographics and leaflets, and printed them for patient use, these will also need to be disposed of accordingly.
