What is DemDx?
DemDx is a clinical reasoning platform designed to support pharmacists in patient assessment and management. Developed by clinicians, it offers evidence-based, step-by-step guidance across various clinical pathways, helping to reduce clinical risk.
DemDx is designed to provide pharmacists with the confidence to manage a wider range of minor illnesses and Pharmacy First consultations. With gold standard, up to date content based on NICE guidelines, DemDx ensures pharmacists are both efficient and safe.
How does DemDx work?
Simply log in to DemDx and enter the patient’s age, biological sex, and presenting symptoms. The system guides you to a clinical pathway which the Pharmacist proceeds through by selecting the appropriate steps. DemDx highlights red flags and supports pharmacists in your history taking and examination.
As you progress, DemDx suggests possible diagnoses based on your steps taken. Recommendations are then provided based on NICE guidelines. Our automatic note builder generates clear, structured consultation notes that reduce documentation time, enhance clinical safety and are recognised by your healthcare peers. DemDx is a Class 1 medical device and is compliant with DSPT and DTAC standards.
